Spring is in the air!

Spring is starting to bloom here in Melbourne, it’s always such a beautiful time of year!

As a Melbourne interior designer and interior stylist, I love to explore all of Melbourne’s beautiful parks that are filled with stunning flower displays, I find the change of season so refreshing and inspiring after an always too long winter!

My favourite places to visit and explore are;

Fitzroy Gardens

Fitzroy gardens always has a specular spring bulb display and is only a short stroll from the city centre. From avenues filled daffodils, jonquils and tulips the whole park is an absolute joy to explore and smells absolutely amazing too!

Williamstown Botanical Garden

One of Melbourne’s oldest gardens it has a beautiful collection of old trees and a very Victorian layout with palms, a pond and winding paths, their spring floral display has beds filled with masses of beautiful daffodils set against lush green.

The Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden

A beautiful garden in all seasons and only a short drive from hustle and bustle of Melbourne’s city centre, it boasts not only stunning displays if spring bulbs, but also hosts a beautiful array of flowering plants from rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias that blanket flower beds in spring colour!
